A World Without You by Beth Revis
“It is about a boy with Schizophrenia who has to cope with his girlfriend’s death. I like it because author Beth Revis uses both the boy’s perspective and his sister’s perspective to show the hallucinations and how they affect his mentality and his family.” – Olivia S.

Long Way Down by Jason Reynolds
“Long Way Down by Jason Reynolds is a good quick read if you want (an easy summer reading book) a mystery. All the characters are people that were important or relevant to the main character, his personality, and how he came to be through his childhood, but it turns out they’re all ghosts.” – Sophie G.

In Another Life by C. C. Hunter
“Another good mystery/romance is In Another Life, by C. C. Hunter. It’s about a girl who is going through a lot in her Sr yr. She meets a boy at the beginning of the book, and he thinks he recognizes her as his adoptive parents’ missing daughter. Yet she’s also adopted officially, so who is she?”- Sophie G.

The Fellowship of the Ring by J.R.R. Tolkien
“The Fellowship of the Ring, is a great book. Storytelling isn’t directly shoved down your throat and most of the story has to be pieced together from dialogues between characters. In addition to this, it’s a challenging read, but still simple enough for teenage readers to understand with some practice, and it makes for a great set of bragging rights!” – Remey C.

Places We’ve Never Been by Kasie West
“Places We’ve Never Been by Kasie West is a great book for young romance readers, it’s a friends-to-lovers trope with plot twist galore and drama filled events.” – Gabrielle B.

Daydream by Hannah Grace
“Daydream by Hannah Grace is also a friends-to-lovers but with much heavier topics, like body insecurities, wanting to desperately fit in, how to stop being a people pleaser, and so much more. Halle (main female character) is trying to find herself throughout the book and Henry (main male character) is helping her with that. Both books are really eye-opening and just really well written.” – Gabrielle B.

Divergent by Veronica Roth
I chose Divergent because the characters are relatable, and the storyline is action packed! – Ava R.
